Computer-controlled production
CNC sheet metal fabrication is a coordinated digital workflow across cutting, punching, forming, and inspection, not a synonym for CNC machining.
| Capability | Fabex scope | Engineering checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| CNC equipment | 15 CNC machines, including four 6 kW laser cutters and 10 press brakes | Publish machine data only where it helps buyers understand a real production constraint. |
| Work envelope | Matched to sheet size, flat pattern, and formed geometry | A flat pattern that fits cutting equipment may still exceed forming access. |
| Repeatability and tolerance | Consistent production quality supported by controlled procedures and precision CNC equipment | Do not apply one tolerance claim to every cut, bend, hole, and assembly feature. |
| Digital workflow | CAD review, CAM programming, nesting, revision-controlled release, and inspection planning | Programs and inspection points should be linked to the released model and drawing revision. |
| Inspection evidence | First-article inspection before production, weekly production updates, and image, video, or livestream reports available | Critical features need a measurable method, not only a general quality statement. |
Send your drawing, material, quantity, and delivery target. Our team will review the process route, manufacturability risks, and open questions before quotation.
Digital thread
The goal is a stable process package that can reproduce the same approved part revision.
Resolve conflicts between 3D geometry, 2D tolerances, material, finish, and hardware callouts.
Checkpoint
Released manufacturing input has one authoritative revision.
Select the process, create machine programs, plan common-line or efficient nesting, and preserve feature intent.
Checkpoint
Program output reviewed for edge quality, grain, marking, and heat effects.
Use the bend sequence, tooling plan, and first-off measurements to control accumulated variation.
Checkpoint
Critical features checked before the full batch proceeds.
Inspect the agreed features and retain the approved program, setup, and revision for repeat orders.
Checkpoint
Inspection records trace back to the released job.
How we plan your project

Application
Automation, electronics, displays, electrical and power equipment, solar, and new-energy products
Material
SPCC, SGCC, SECC, aluminum 5052, SUS304, and other drawing-specified grades
Quantity
Production plan confirmed from part workload, order quantity, annual demand, and delivery cadence
Lead time
Quoted for the approved manufacturing scope; freight transit is stated separately
Stable cut-feature location, bend relationships, and surface quality across repeat orders.
Reconcile the model and drawing, release controlled CAM and forming programs, inspect first-off parts, and retain the approved setup.
Documented DFM findings, a proposed manufacturing route, quotation, and lead-time plan for your approval.
CNC process questions
Answers that separate sheet metal process control from subtractive CNC machining.
Depending on the drawing, the route may use CNC laser cutting, turret punching, press-brake bending, and programmed inspection. CNC machining is quoted only when a genuinely machined feature or separate machined part is required.
A 3D model improves programming and geometry review; a 2D drawing should define tolerances, critical dimensions, material, finish, threads, hardware, and inspection requirements. Conflicts are resolved before release.
The approved program and setup can be retained, but each repeat order should still confirm drawing revision, material, quantity, and any process or equipment change.
Tolerance capability depends on the process and feature relationship. Cut-feature accuracy, bend angle, flange length, and dimensions crossing multiple bends should be reviewed separately.
A controlled release should tie the customer file revision to the job traveler, CNC program, bend setup, and inspection record. Superseded files are removed from the active production package.
Secondary machining may be appropriate for precision bores, sealing faces, deep threads, counterbores, or datums that cutting and forming cannot control economically. The added setup should be limited to features that genuinely require it.
Engineering before production
A useful fabrication quote begins with the manufacturing route, critical interfaces and realistic tolerances, not only a CAD model.
View the complete sheet metal DFM guideApply tight tolerances only to datums, mating features and functions that need them. Process and size govern what is practical; unnecessary precision adds setups, inspection, cost and lead time.
Standardize bend radii, hole sizes, hardware and material thickness wherever the design permits.
Check cutting, bending, welding, finishing, inspection and assembly access before releasing the drawing.

Customer Perspective
B2B customers often give brief, practical feedback and show their trust through the next project.

Full production programs, repeat orders, and multi-year supply — not one-off samples. References available for your sector on request.
In contract manufacturing, the clearest reward is often another drawing, another production order, or a larger scope.
We do not publish a customer's name, product, drawing or project details without written permission. That is not a lack of proof - it is how contract manufacturing works, and it is the same discretion we apply to your designs.
Send your drawings and requirements for an engineering review, project-specific quotation, and manufacturing plan.
